THE BIRTH
Launched in April 2000, Emirates Cable TV & Multimedia (L.L.C), E-Vision, a subsidiary of the dynamic Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, ETISALAT, was created to meet the demand for a superior technology and services. E-Vision decided to launch the first cable TV network in the UAE and offers the ultimate in Entertainment, Information, Education and Interactive Multimedia Services that will be transmitted digitally across the UAE.
THE FUTURE
As the world gets digital, E-Vision's foray in this field is timely. With the convergence of television and multimedia, a world of opportunities open up. E-Vision is prepared for these exciting times and with its channel offering in place, E-Vision is now setting its sights on the multimedia world. The journey has begun and E-Vision commits itself to continue its thrust in this dynamic new world.
CHANNEL LINE-UP
The Channel line-up is structured to suit the viewing habits of a wide cross-section of UAE society and is delivered in economical packages. World-renowned names like e-Pehla, e-Firsnet, ART, Showtime, TFC, Orbit, and Pinoy have entered into strategic alliances with E-Vision to offer viewers an unmatched level of programming content.
EXCLUSIVE CHANNELS
Unique channels have been developed that can only be found within the E-Vision family of channels. Initially, E-Vision has created e-junior (children's channel) to cater to local viewing habits while keeping in mind the cosmopolitan nature of the UAE's society. eView - E-Vision's Pay-Per-View service Watch the latest Arabic, Hollywood and Bollywood Blockbuster movies, from the comfort of your home, on your television screen, 24 hours a day. Just use your E-Vision remote control and tune to e-View menus on channel 221 to select your favorite movies. For film previews, tune to channels 200 or 220 on your E-Vision Set-Top Box.
INTERACTIVE SERVICES
A whole new dimension will be added when the television screen becomes much more than just an audio/visual medium. Interactive quizzes, home shopping, online games… the future looks exciting.
ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE
This advanced feature will be provided soon as an on-screen access to detailed program schedules and even a synopsis of the program content. The guide also enables viewers to plan their viewing schedule in advance.
FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE
No efforts are being spared to ensure that E-Vision customers have access to an efficient and responsive team. A state of the art Call Centre linked by a dedicated toll free number, 101 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our sales representatives and technicians are also available to help with any questions or technical difficulties the customer may have.
